How to reach Montalcino
From the north of Italy
take the A1 motorway to Rome, exit at Florence-Impruneta, take the Florence-Siena highway, exit at Siena Sud and take the SS2 (Cassia) towards Rome, then through the cities of Monteroni d’Arbia and Buonconvento, turn right towards km 199 just after the EWA distributor and go up the provincial road of Brunello (SP45) reached Montalcino follow the signs for Grosseto and before leaving the village you will find on your right our hotel.
From Rome we have 3 possible routes:
- Take the SS2 (Cassia) towards Siena, near torrenieri turn right towards Montalcino;
- Take the A1 motorway towards Florence, exit at Chiusi, take the SS146 and after Chianciano Terme, Montepulciano, Pienza, S.Quirico d’Orcia, find the SS2 (Cassia) towards Siena and follow the signs for Montalcino;
- Take the Aurelia or the Rome/ Civitavecchia motorway past Grosseto and turn inland towards Siena …
From Grosseto (55 km),
take the SS223 Grosseto-Siena, turn right towards Paganico SP64, head towards Monte Amiata, well before turning left for S.Angelo Scalo (SP52)continue towards Montalcino and before entering the village you will find on your left the hotel Al Brunello.

If these times are not respected, we will try to satisfy the customer in accordance with the commitments made with other incoming customers and with the cleaning and reception staff.
In any case, to benefit from late check-in and check-out you will need to notify us in advance via email and costs may apply based on the estimated arrival or departure time.
